TVS Motor Company has introduced the new Matte Series for the Victor Premium Edition. The new TVS Victor matte color scheme is priced at Rs 55,890 and is available in two new shades Blue and Silver, along with additional features. The new colors are complemented by chrome detailing on the visor and a dual tone beige seat. TVS says the new matte series build on the aspirational value of the premium edition that was launched in September last year.
The Victor name was re-introduced in the Indian market in 2016. This facelift will keep the bike fresh in the market. The matte shade is quite rare in the segment and makes the bike quite premium. The bold body graphics on the tank, headlamp cowl, and the rear give it a premium appearance. Apart from that, the wheels are painted black while the rear spring shock absorbers get the red paint giving it a contrasting color.
The new matte series on the Premium Edition claims to preserve its engine performance that delivers a range of 72kpl. It is powered by an advanced three-valve oil cooled engine which the company claims is tuned to deliver the optimum combination of power and fuel economy. The bike comes with an electric start that fires up the four-speed powertrain to churn out 9.5 PS of power 7500 rpm with a torque of 9.4 Nm 6000 rpm.
In addition to the new matte colors, the TVS Victor Premium Edition is now available with a disc brake. The TVS Victor is one of the more capable commuters in the 110 cc segment and competes with the likes of the Honda Dream series, Hero Passion Pro and the likes. The Victor will also compete with the soon-to-be-launched Bajaj Discover 110 that is set to go on sale on January 10.
