Anuj Gupta, deputy vice president (energy and currency research), Angel Broking, said that during the festive season, the prices of all essential commodities ranging from fruits and vegetables have increased, which has also contributed to the increase in oil prices in the past. In such a situation, due to the reduction in the price of oil now, ordinary consumers will get a big relief. Gupta said that the prices of petrol and diesel will decrease further because the price of crude oil has come down in the international market.

He said that after the drone attack on Saudi Arabian oil company Saudi Aramco on September 14, the international market recorded the biggest one-day rise in crude oil prices after 28 years, when Brent crude was priced at $ 71.95. Per barrel, but since then the price of Brent has broken about $ 14 per barrel.

Earlier, after the attack on an oil company of Saudi Arabia last month, there was a continuous rise in the price of petrol and diesel due to the strong rise in the price of crude oil. Experts tell that in the coming days, the price of both vehicles fuels will decrease further.
