A workshop on the “Online Course on Digital Payments” was sorted out by FICCI and NITI Aayog on November 12, 2018, under the Chairmanship of Shri Ratan P Watal, Principal Advisor, NITI Aayog and Member Secretary to EAC-PM.
The course was produced by International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in a joint effort with NITI Aayog and Department of Telecommunications (DoT) with contributions from key partners focusing on mid-level Government Officers/Academicians occupied with preparing.
The course secured different viewpoints identified with Digital Payments, for example, principles, interoperability, security issues, advanced patterns like circulated record advances, and so on and was isolated into three modules. More than 80 members from different Government Departments/Training Institutions/Academia enlisted in this program.
Sudhakar Ramasubramanian, MD and CEO, Aditya Birla Idea Payment Bank and Co-Chair, FICCI Fintech Committee conveyed the introductory statements at this workshop. Ashish Narayan, Program Coordinator, ITU Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific at that point shared the key learnings of this course and gave the general input to the Chair.
